Tales of Brave Knights, Heroic Courage, and Happily Ever After.
Updated: May 6, 2020
I love reading! The smell of fresh new books makes my heart beat faster. Each time I open one I am ready for a new adventure.

I adore a C. S. Lewis quote that says, "Since it is so likely that children will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. Otherwise you are making their destiny not brighter, but darker." I wholeheartedly agree. There have been ever so many times in my life that I have drawn strength, comfort and courage from the stories I love and the characters who have taught me. Even if it's as simple as a positive little 'Cinderella had to deal with a terrible stepmother 24/7, at least I'm only at work for eight hours of the day!' to give my step a little pep on those kind of mornings.
Books have helped me find peace in troubled times, and friends when I had few. They've helped me through the thick and thin of life, and I have found joy in celebrating with them. They have even inspired me to action. I love the story "Ever After" which was first a movie starring Drew Barrymore before the screenplay was translated into a book. The ending proclaims "They did, of course, live happily ever after. But the point, gentleman, is that they lived." Those few ending sentences are basically my whole message. That whomever you may be, whatever you may do with your time, I hope that you live.
So, go on. Find some joy and inspiration. Comment your favourite book below, I would LOVE to read them! I have way too many favourites to choose from but here are a few that come to mind if ya need a place to start.
